Enrollment Milestone Achieved!
The Mary Tyler Moore Vision Initiative is proud to celebrate an important milestone in diabetes-related retinal research: the DRCR Retina Network has enrolled the first participant in Protocol AR, the Longitudinal Natural History Study of Retinal Function in Eyes of Patients with Diabetes.
This milestone marks the official launch of participant enrollment and reflects the dedication of the investigators, coordinators, reading centers, study teams, and partners working together to advance our understanding of retinal disease.
We extend special congratulations to Dr. Jennifer K. Sun, one of the DRCR Retina Network Chairs, for enrolling the first participant in the study.
Through collaboration with the DRCR Retina Network and the University of Michigan, the Mary Tyler Moore Vision Initiative is helping support research that moves us closer to evidence-based advances in care for people living with diabetes-related retinal disease.
We look forward to continued enrollment and to the meaningful contributions of participants and clinical sites across the Network.
